RAM Mounts has partnered with Samsung to develop a powered cradle for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5, Tab Active3 & Tab Active2. This kit is compatible with the Samsung OEM case as well as the dedicated RAM Skin and the cradle has been designed to meet the demands of field workers in a variety of applications including transportation, field sales, logistics, manufacturing, and much more.
This ultra-low cost cradle provides power to the device through the pogo pin interface on the tablet and can be easily rotated for both portrait and landscape operation of the device.
This complete mounting kit includes a 53mm x 66mm (2.10" x 2.60") steel backing plate with #8-32 threaded holes, two 63mm (2.5”) round ball plates, medium length double socket arm, and a GDS modular hardwire charger to provide power to the Galaxy Tab Active5, 3 & 2.
RAM's patented rubber ball and socket technology dampens shock and vibration and allows for near-infinite adjustment, enabling perfect viewing and operating angle of your device.
The steel backing plate provides additional support and strength when mounting the kit on flat dashboard sections of trucks, utes and other vehicles. Simply select the location and mark the holes according to the round plate. Drill through the plastic dashboard surface and place the steel backing plate on the back. Use the included mounting hardware to secure the round plate to the dashboard surface by securing it through the steel plate.
The mount is designed with a 1.5" diameter C size rubber ball and socket system that features adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing for near-infinite adjustability for ideal viewing angles.
